This issue begins with an editorial note on paradigms in research, which shows its classification contained in different works of scientific research. It also contains two articles from the economic area; the first studies financial education within the family economy of district 1 of the Municipality of Sacaba - Bolivia; and the second analyzes economic policies in times of COVID-19, showing as a case study Ecuador's balance of payments during the 2020-2021 period.
