The English language is the second most spoken language in the world and the most used worldwide for communication, that is why the grumetes (troops) of the Navy of Ecuador must have a representative knowledge of this language as a means of communication, since throughout their military life they take different specialization courses abroad and it is essential that they master this language. The objective of this work is to evaluate the use of ICTs to optimize the learning of English at the Salinas Naval Technology Center. The research methodology was descriptive, transversal and field research through the application of surveys to students, teachers and directors to know the use of ICTs in English language learning. It was concluded that teachers do apply ICTs and their impact is positive in the language learning process
