The general objective of this research work is to describe how strategic strengthening influences the promotion of socio-economic development in the Sancán canton Jipijapa commune, Manabi province of Ecuador, in order to diagnose and promote tools for strategic development, as well as training and accompaniment activities, with which it is estimated to achieve recovery and economic strengthening in said community. The methodology used in the present research has a quantitative, descriptive approach, using the analytical method, through a search for primary information from both documents, written and electronic press, books, journals, articles related to the variables of the topic in question. Therefore, the results obtained in the present research reveal the existence of a commercial potential and resources generated in the commune, but that could be more productive for the benefit of the population. However, for strategic strengthening it is necessary to be organized to generate value and identify and create mechanisms, in order to potentiate the different products that lead to high growth and socio-economic development
