Corporate Social Responsibility has become increasingly relevant in business management, especially in the financial sector, where banks play a key role in Bolivia's economy. This study focuses on analyzing the evolution of CSR practices in the country's financial institutions between 2015 and 2023. The objective is to identify trends, patterns and challenges in the implementation of CSR in the Bolivian banking sector, through the analysis of 120 reports from 15 banks with national coverage. To this end, a qualitative methodology was employed, using documentary and content analysis methods, in a non-experimental and longitudinal approach. The results show progress in the alignment of banks with international frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative and the Sustainable Development Goals, although the integration of these standards is still uneven. Despite this progress, there is a prevalence of CSR reports focused on conventional aspects of social responsibility, rather than reports specifically focused on sustainability. In conclusion, although some banks show commitment to transparency, external verification of these reports remains limited, with the absence of independent audits to ensure the quality and reliability of the information presented
