Identification of the type of article:

The author must specify the type of article being submitted:

1) Research Articles: Works that present general or partial results of original research. This is the most common form of communication of the original findings or results of scientific research projects.

2) Review Articles: Works that compile, analyze, and synthesize the current state of a particular topic by in-depth examination of a specific discipline or topic of interest, based on a variety of bibliographic references. These articles consist of reviews, comparisons, syntheses, and analysis of information. It should be noted that a review article is a form of original research or work conducted in a library, not in a laboratory or healthcare center, and is prepared based on information obtained as a result of the analysis and synthesis of a wide variety of documents.

3) Reflective Articles: Works that review research results to analyze them from new perspectives. This is a good publication option for researchers who, once their projects are completed, wish to delve deeper into them.

4) Short Articles / Scientific Notes: Works that briefly describe research, presenting results that should be disseminated quickly. These are also called Experimental Notes or Brief Communications, and the results they present can be definitive or partial. They also cover advances and observations of interest that justify their rapid publication.

5) Historical Articles: Works that disseminate information related to the history of financial institutions, research centers or institutes, or professionals who have distinguished themselves in the field of economics and social sciences.

6) Essays: Papers that argue particular ideas and points of view on a specific topic. Relationships, contradictions, or inconsistencies are identified in order to propose solutions for future research.

7) Letters to the Editor: These include comments or objections regarding articles published in the Journal; their objective is to exchange knowledge and experiences among readers of a given publication.

8) Book Reviews: Papers that present contributions to the review of books related to the journal's subject matter, which have been published in the last five years. They serve to present a brief and in-depth critical overview of the book.

9) Event Reports: Papers that present the structure and development of a national or international event, endorsed by universities, institutes, and academic and research centers. These may include seminars, meetings, congresses, among others.

10) Academic and Scientific News: These include news of interest to the journal's readership, such as: announcements of scientific events, reports on congress proceedings, conferences, courses, meetings, as well as calls for scholarships and awards.

Any other research work with characteristics different from those mentioned above must be clearly specified upon submission.

Keywords in Spanish and English below each abstract. Minimum 3 words, maximum 6.

In most cases, the IMRYD system (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion) or one of its variants should be used as a guide. However, depending on the type of article, it is advisable to consider the following:

Results and Discussion. The results present the findings and achievements of the study; the discussion contextualizes the results in the disciplinary area, comparing them with previous research, highlighting the progress made, or correcting concepts previously used by other authors.
Bibliographic References. These constitute the detailed list of documentary sources cited in the body of the article. References must be presented under the APA 7th Edition of the Standards Manual.

2) Review Articles: These articles must not exceed ten (10) pages and have the same structure as original research articles. They must contain at least twenty-five (25) bibliographic references.

8) Book Reviews: Book reviews must include a title, a fact sheet, a summary of the work, a critical commentary, and conclusions. The review must not exceed five (5) pages. Complete information about the work must be included, including page number and ISBN, and an image of the cover must also be attached.

9) Event Reports: The report must include the title of the event and a report of its entire structure and development, with a logical sequence of events. It must conclude with the message or lesson learned from the event for those who attended, highlighting its central theme. Write a minimum of three (3) pages and a maximum of seven (7) pages.
