Abstract

The evaluation and accreditation processes of educational institutions are mechanisms used to evaluate and guarantee the quality of the education provided in these institutions. This editorial note briefly explains how the evaluation and accreditation processes benefit institutions, promoting their continuous improvement and educational quality; concluding that, through the feedback and recommendations received during the evaluation, it is possible to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to strengthen their educational quality; since accreditation ensures that the institution continues to meet quality standards in the long term.
