Crowdfunding is applied as a financing alternative, which facilitates the opportunity to be strategic for the continuity of the operations of a given business, which is why the objective of this article is to analyze crowdfunding as an alternative financing for the investment of companies in the construction sector of the Municipality of Jesús Enrique Lossada, Zulia State, and the study was based on aspects such as the forms of crowdfunding, the reasons for crowdfunding, the process of presenting strategic actions for investment, the types of strategic ideas for investments. The methodology was descriptive, field and not experimental, the population consisted of three (03) companies from the municipality under study, addressing the management area, where the surveyed subjects were a total of 9 people. The data collection technique was an interview-type survey, consisting of 43 questions, which was validated and its reliability measured. Subsequently, the data were analyzed statistically, and it was found that the alternative forms of this crowdfunding model were for the companies observed, financing by investment and by subscription. It was concluded that the reasons for this business choice were due to technological and economic change, therefore, a description of the project was required when it was about buildings, recommending the application of financial review methods.
