Abstract

The role of emotions in the lives of human beings has received great attention, with much greater emphasis in organizations, where the search for leaders who influence people is vital to leading the company to achieve its objectives. This interest has been growing in the academic area since the introduction of the concept of “emotional intelligence”, which can play an important role in people's leadership, in their personal development, as well as in work-life relationships. . This editorial note, through a brief literature review, seeks to clarify the implications that emotional intelligence can have on different leadership styles.
