Abstract

Currently, artificial intelligence is being integrated into the educational process, revolutionizing education and offering innovative tools through which students learn and teachers teach, in search of meaningful learning. Although artificial intelligence apparently provides great benefits, it also poses challenges, such as excessive dependence, low development of analytical and synthesis capabilities, as well as disinterest in research; coupled with the fact that it stimulates mental laziness. This editorial note describes the current advances and obstacles in the use of artificial intelligence in student education, offering both advantages and disadvantages, and its influence on education
